What is Culture?? What does tradition mean??  Do we actually follow them?? This list goes on!!! And these questions challenge me to find answers. Nevertheless, I fail every time, I at least try each time to seek answers Prologue - I am not against our culture or traditions and I do respect GOD. " Just because you are following a culture or being traditional does not give you brownie points to become a good person than who doesn't follow " - Read this till you get it right!!  This single quote summarizes my thoughts on these customized traditions and cultures ( will explain later how these are customized) Tradition in a very lamen language is a way of doing something in a particular way that's been drilled deep into our minds by our ancestors. We never bothered or even give a second thought about why these have been done in this particular way, and why not the other way. If society is a person, I would have made the society to consult a psychiatrist, as that PERSON has a sadistic personality disorder - Schadenfreude(  pleasure derived by someone from another person's misfortune  - I googled it). If I ever get a chance to question society face to face, I will have a lot to ask, and a lot more to confront.  Like this-                 1) Society, why do you never mind your own business?                2) Society, why are you so interested in my life? 90'S Parents - This topic is very close to my heart. In this, it's not the voice of my thoughts, it's my heart which speaks out loud. Parents and Friends are two important things that make my heart to skip a beat. There will always be a cold war between these two teams in every discussion. During my days of education like a decade before, it is - if anyone asks about my hobbies, its common practice to say 'reading books' and 'listening to music'. But, I never remember, me opening a book other than textbooks, yet, I used to say reading as my hobby because it looks cool and everyone likes to hear that. Basically, I am a movie freak. WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BECOME? When this question is asked, what are the most possible answers we hear? A Doctor, An Engineer or a business magnet. But, least we hear about army and defence. Surprisingly, they are the reason for the freedom we have, to answer the question asked. I never know the importance of soldiers at an early age. Birthdays are special. aren't they? For me, Birthday is a Festival that comes especially for YOU.  Since my childhood, I get very excited when it comes to Birthday.
